Who are the world's #1 killers of journalists?

Surprise! "Islamic militants ..."
What made this story somewhat noteworthy is that it appeared in The Huffington Post. They still can't embrace the word "terrorists" though, and use "militants" instead. That makes the bad guys sound a bit more plucky, and like they may have some legitimate grievances.

Journalists have gotten so used to running interference for radical Islam that they can't even stop when their own are being slaughtered. Then again, this sadly may be the only reason that any honesty whatsoever is brought to reporting about terrorism.

Climate crisis? Horse pucky*!

Lorrie Goldstein:
Ever since Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his gigantic delegation of Canadian politicians returned from the Paris climate conference they’ve been throwing around the idea of “decarbonizing” the Canadian and global economies [as directed by Lib eco-freak puppeteer, Gerald Butts.]
To which one can only respond: “Oy, vey. ...”

New study shows NOAA exaggerated U.S. warming

James Delingpole:
Another week, another study showing that our official climate data gatekeepers have been exaggerating the extent of “global warming” to make it look more scary, more urgent, more desperately in need of extra funding for our official climate data gatekeepers…
This one, co-authored by meteorologist Anthony Watts (of Watts Up With That? fame) shows that at least half of the “global warming” in the US since 1979 has been fabricated by NOAA.
Judith Curry and Anthony Watts comment:
Curry: This looks like a solid study.  The participation of John Nielsen-Gammon in this study is particularly noteworthy; Watts writes:
Watts: "Dr. John Nielsen-Gammon, the state climatologist of Texas, has done all the statistical significance analysis and his opinion is reflected in this statement from the introduction ...Dr. Nielsen-Gammon has been our worst critic from the get-go ..."

Papal encyclical on global warming splits the church

WUWT:
The papal Laudato Si’ encyclical on global warming .... has prompted reportedly heated exchanges between senior church figures, at a recent top level meeting in Rome.
"...Argentinean Bishop ... Sorondo, a close advisor to Pope Francis ... stressed that the pope’s declarations on the gravity of global warming ... are magisterial teaching equivalent to the teaching that abortion is sinful
... Father Joseph Fessio, SJ ... who obtained his doctorate in theology under Joseph Ratzinger ... told LifeSiteNews, “Neither the pope nor Bishop Sorondo can speak on a matter of science with any binding authority, so to use the word ‘magisterium’ in both cases is equivocal at best, and ignorant in any case.” Fr. Fessio added, “To equate a papal position on abortion with a position on global warming is worse than wrong; it is an embarrassment for the Church.” "

Trudeau's cabinet gender quota - "a harm to women and to Canada"

Janice Fiamengo:  "'Because it's 2015' - a pretty good non-answer to defend a female quota at the highest level of government.  ... Anyone who has doubts about Trudeau's cabinet has been told in no uncertain terms to keep his feelings to himself."

A good example of Trudeau's (and liberals' in general) blind commitment to stupid, feel-good, platitude-driven policy.

Here are all of Fiamengo's videos.

Radical feminism at Simon Fraser University (just for example)

David Thompson "And Yet They Want to Teach Us":
Janice Fiamengo pokes through the mental wreckage of some standard feminist boilerplate, in which facts are either absent or inverted, questions are begged at a rate of knots, and criticism of feminist assumptions is equated with both racism and “co-ordinated campaigns of terror.”

Professor Fiamengo discusses the feminist inability to understand and avoid the logical fallacies while
promoting hatred of men at Simon Fraser University (SFU)

Elections Canada partisan, corrupt

Brian Lilley:
Elections Canada offered a sole sourced contract worth nearly $1 million to the Assembly of First Nations to engage in voter outreach even as key members of the organization made highly partisan statements calling for the defeat of the Conservative government. ...

Not to be outdone by Obama:

Now, how long will it be before we see HAMAS removed from the list of designated terrorist entities?

Obama names HAMAS sympathizer as new ISIS Czar

Incredible:
President Obama has appointed a foreign policy advisor known to be a friend of the terrorist group Hamas to be the administration’s new czar in charge of countering ISIS. The appointee, Robert Malley, has a history of sympathizing with Islamists, which makes the appointment all the more appalling.
Fearful of losing Jewish voters, Obama severed ties with Malley in May of 2008 when it was disclosed that he had held meetings with Hamas. One day after the election, it was reported that Malley had been dispatched to the Middle East to work on Obama's promise to "improve ties with Egypt and Syria."

Disloyalty of Canadian civil servants revealed by Hillary's emails

US diplomat:
... I was a little astonished at how openly the career folks at the foreign and assistance ministries disliked their new political masters (...) In my many years here I have never seen such open disloyalty with a change of administrations. ...”
